Michelle Bolsonaro and the children of her husband, former president Jair Bolsonaro, have been exchanging public barbs for some time. Comments increased significantly after the arrest of the reserve captain and the announcement of the pre-candidacy of his eldest son, senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ), for the Presidency of the Republic.
The narrative fight on Wednesday (24), in which, once again, he made public criticism and exposed Flávio and his brothers. “He mistreated me and said I should stay out of party decisions,” he declared. The senator also repeatedly completely ruled out Michelle’s possible candidacy for President.
In the most recent raid, the two-part video posted on Michelle’s Instagram claims that Flávio “stabbed” when defending deputy André Fernandes. Fernandes declared support for the pre-candidate for the government of Ceará, Ciro Gomes (PSDB) who, according to Michelle, called Flávio himself and his brothers corrupt and “eggs of Nazi snakes”.
At the end of last year, the brothers Carlos, Eduardo and Flávio publicly criticized Michelle Bolsonaro during the launch of Eduardo Girão’s (Novo-CE) pre-candidacy for the Ceará government. At the time, she rejected the articulation made by federal deputy André Fernandes (PL-CE) to bring the local segment of the party closer to Ciro Gomes (PSDB).
In an interview with The Peoplesenator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) stated that Michelle “ran over” Bolsonaro. “[Ele] had authorized the movement of deputy André Fernandes in Ceará and the way in which she addressed him, who is perhaps our greatest local leader, was authoritarian and embarrassing”, said the parliamentarian.
Subsequently, Rio de Janeiro councilor Carlos Bolsonaro (PL) endorsed his brother. “We have to be united and respect my father’s leadership, without letting us be led by other forces,” he wrote.
The former federal deputy (PL-SP) also spoke in favor of Flávio. , the parliamentarian stated that Michelle’s attitude was “unfair and disrespectful towards André Fernandes”. He also said that he “could not be criticized for obeying the leader”.

In February this year, the senator said he would “bring the family together”, involving the former first lady and another son of Jair, former federal deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL). The reason for the disagreement was a speech by Eduardo, stating that deputy Nikolas Ferreira (PL-MG) and Michelle would not be providing sufficient support for Flávio’s pre-candidacy for the Presidency of the Republic.
O former deputy also declared that both appear to have “amnesia” forgetting that they gained greater national prominence after the alliance with former president Jair Bolsonaro.
In March, an event in the United States, the former deputy said he was recording images to show his father and prove that the “movement” could not be silenced. Jair Bolsonaro could be taken back to jail if he used cell phones or had contact with social media. Interlocutors claim that Michelle started avoiding direct contact with her stepsonusing only mediators for communication.
In May, Michelle avoided defending the pre-candidate after the disclosure of a conversation. Instead of defending the senator, Michelle preferred to deflect the conversation.
“(About) Flávio, you have to ask him,” she declared, refusing to answer how she assessed the impact of the crisis on her stepson’s campaign.

Michelle also said that Flávio comes to her house every week and, If he wanted the support of the former first lady, he would have already said. “Flávio comes to my house every week, more than once, if he really wanted to talk to me, he would have already spoken. If he considered my support necessary, he would have already talked. I’m on my own, I’ll remain collected. I didn’t look for him anymore either.”
The senator spoke on Wednesday night (25) and said that “never mistreated or humiliated a woman” and what happened, “apologize”

I made yet another unrequited gesture. She didn’t answer. I left a message. She didn’t return either”, he wrote.
Finally, Michelle declared that “I’m not mad at anyone” and that “I just clarified a situation that was being misrepresented” on Instagram.
Michelle also wrote that there is no competition between her and former president Jair Bolsonaro’s children. “Let’s all work together to defeat the current misgovernment. There is no fight, no competition. I just ask that you do not take excerpts from my speech out of context to create confusion. A new history will be written with truth, clarity and respect. Stay at peace”, he stated.
