In a meeting with Flávio Bolsonaro, Milei says that the ‘blue wave’ will reach Brazil

O sSenator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) met this Monday (29) with the president of Argentina, Javier Mileiat the official residence of the presidency, Quinta de Olivos. The pre-candidate for Palácio do Planalto fulfills a series of agendas in the neighboring country.

During the meeting, Milei stated that he is certain that the “blue wave” will reach Brazil this yearreferencing the color normally associated with right-wing parties in South America.

In turn, Flávio said that the victory of right-wing parties in continent is “enough” with left-wing governments. He also told the president of Argentina that the October election will be “the last piece missing from the right-wing map on the continent”.

The senator stays in the country until tomorrow and should meet Milei again on Monday night.

This Sunday (28), Flávio spoke at the opening of the Latin America Chairmen’s Conferencean event for the global Jewish community, in Buenos Aires, and praised the Argentine president.

The presidential candidate highlighted the recent victories of the right in South America, such as Peru and Colombia, and said Brazilians are “envious” of their South American neighbors.

“We Brazilians look at this map today with a little envy. Because, while our neighbors, one by one, choose freedom and order, the Brazil is still stuck in the past. We are the missing piece on this map. And I’m here to say, bluntly: in October, that changes”, said Flávio Bolsonaro.

‘Argentina’s Brother’

The son of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) criticized the economic measures of the government of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) and stated that the Brazil will once again be “Argentina’s brother”.

“While President Milei put order in the house, Lula disordered ours,” said the senator, criticizing the levels of interest rates on credit cards in the Brazilian market.

“I want to finish by saying something I said last week, at the March for Jesus: from 2027, Brazil will once again become more of a brother to Argentina than ever before,” he said.

Lula is anti-Semitic, accuses Flávio

Em pre-campaign tone and targeting the 2026 presidential electionthe senator criticized the current conduct of foreign policy and public security in Brazil, projecting an ideological shift in the event of victory at the polls in October.

O senator repudiated the official position of the Brazilian government in international forums regarding the conflict in the Gaza Strip: “Ali said a sentence that I want to repeat loudly and clearly, because I speak with conviction: Lula is anti-Semitic.”

“On my first day as president, I will withdraw the credentials and the Brazilian ambassador in Tehran, and reinstate Israel’s new ambassador in Brasília. In 2027, Brazil will not only have an ambassador to Israel again, but will take the step of moving its embassy to the capital of Israel, Jerusalem,” he said.
