Four years after the start of the Russian attack on Ukraine, there are signs that the aggressor’s position has deteriorated significantly. Drone attacks on refineries in Russia triggered fuel shortages across the country and disrupted supplies to Russian troops. The fall of Viktor Orbán in Hungary has allowed the immediate disbursement of 3.2 billion euros as the first installment of the 90 billion euro loan that EU members have granted to Ukraine over the next two years. In addition, another six billion euros will soon be released for the production of drones in Ukraine.
