In a surprise operation, the National Republican Guard (GNR) arrested four men, aged between 26 and 66, for drug trafficking. The action, which involved maritime, land and air means, allowed the seizure of four tons of hashish, valued at thousands of euros.
The GNR monitored a high-speed vessel heading to Setúbal, suspecting a cargo transshipment. The intervention made it possible to intercept two vessels and seize 101 bales of hashish, in addition to confiscating 10 jerrycans of fuel. The suspects were arrested.
