Since the start of the 2026 World Cup, some Ronaldinho Gaúcho songs have grown exponentially in reproductions on Spotify. Known as the king of “random roles”, at least 15 tracks from “Tropa do Bruxo”, his musical project, grew by more than 40%, according to the platform. An idol of Brazilian football, the former player has focused on his career in music in recent years, which has earned him partnerships with big names in the music scene, such as Dennis DJ, Xande de Pilares, Iza and Wesley Safadão.
Among the biggest hits are “Dentro da B”, by MC Nego Jhey, which grew 162.8%, “Lokinha”, by MC Menor JP, which grew 154.1%, and “Abracadabra”, by Bruxo 021, with 111.5%. Most of them move between funk and country music, but the former athlete has also recorded songs in samba and even rap.

In addition to managing the project, which takes its name from his on-field nickname, “Witch,” he is involved in behind-the-scenes production and songwriting. According to Ecad (Central Collection and Distribution Office), he has 91 musical records attributed to his given name: Ronaldo de Assis Moreira. He also appears as a performer on 32 tracks.
In 2015, he reached a peak in reproductions in his recently launched musical career with the song “Agora Perdeu”, by the pagode group Bom Gosto, which had more than 50 million reproductions, on Spotify alone.
His latest release was born from Ronaldinho Gaúcho’s meeting with the Minas Gerais pagode group Akatu.
