Flachau – Katharina Liensberger implemented her announcement to win the floodlit slalom in Flachau perfectly, at least in the first round. After 22 runners, the Vorarlberg woman leads in 56.78 seconds ahead of the Swiss Wendy Holdener and 0.94 ahead of the Swede Sara Hector. Liensberger is reaching for the first ÖSV victory at the night race spectacle since Marlies Schild (now Raich) 14 years ago.
