Berlin – Five weeks before the federal election in Germany, a possible intrigue from within their own ranks threatens to overshadow the Green Party’s election campaign. Research by the ARD broadcaster Berlin-Brandenburg (RBB) suggests that a Green Party district politician made harassment allegations against the Berlin Green Party member of the Bundestag Stefan Gelbhaar under a false identity. Gelbhaar himself had always rejected the allegations.
