In the first decision of Brazilian football in 2025, Botafogo and Flamengo face this Sunday (02/02), at 16h (Brasília time), in a game that is worth the title of Super Cup do Brasil. The match takes place at the Mangueirão stadium in Belém, Pará.
The duel puts face to face the champion of Brasileirão 2024, Botafogo, against the champion of the 2024 Brazilian Cup, Flamengo.
The Brazil Super Cup was created in 1990, but was not played from 1992 until 2019. This is the first time Botafogo has the Super Cup. Flamengo has two titles in 2020 and 2021, being the biggest champion. In addition, the red-black was still vice on three occasions (1991, 2022 and 2023).
In 2024, as a way of honoring Pelé, the CBF announced that the official name of the Brazil Super Cup became Super Cup King.

Both teams received $ 6.05 million each for the duel. In addition, the champion will still earn $ 1 million ($ 5.9 million).
