Odavi Alcolumbre (Union-AP), defended on Saturday, 1st, Finance Minister Fernando Haddad, with whom he said he had “excellent relationship”. He lamented political and party disputes that, according to the senator, try to deconstruct the figure of a public man who is giving his best.
“I have excellent relationship with Minister Haddad. It is even an opportunity, without being a lawyer for the minister, but to realize that he is giving his best to try to help in Brazil’s economic agenda, ”he said in an interview with Studio Ifrom GloboNews “unfortunately we have partisan and political disputes that end up entering another sphere and trying to deconstruct the figure of public man who is giving his best,” he emphasized.
Alcolumbre also ranked the head of the economic team as “great government framework” and said he had already talked to Haddad before the election to make himself available to “walking side by side”, as he did when Paulo Guedes was Jair Bolsonaro’s minister of economy .
“I recognize and respect Minister Haddad as a great government, I have an extraordinary personal relationship relationship and I have already made myself available if I was winning to walk side by side with Minister Haddad as I did with Minister Guedes,” he concluded.
