The deputy secretary of government, Márcio Pereira, shared a photo of Marta on his social networks, asking for prayers for the recovery of the teacher, who is a member of the Assembly of God and very beloved in the evangelical community.

“Marta is the sister of a friend of ours, Ferreirinha, who worked with doctor Fábio Rueda. She’s a great friend. She is stabilizing so she can be transported to an ICU,” Pereira told the portal ContilNet.

The team of ContilNet is seeking more information about the director’s health status.

About pneumonia

Pneumonia is a lung infection that causes coughing, chest pain, high fever, purulent mucus secretion and shortness of breath.
According to experts, the disease causes inflammation in the alveoli, which are air sacs in the lung.

It can be caused by fungi, bacteria, viruses, inhalation of toxic products or chemical substances.

The disease, which is one of the main causes of death in the world, can kill if the person affected by it does not seek medical attention.

It can be diagnosed through clinical examinations, chest x-ray or lung auscultation. Treatment can be done with antibiotics, and the patient often needs to be hospitalized.
