According to the former minister’s advisors, he ‘is well and working normally’
The former minister of Casa Civil Zé Dirceu (PT) was diagnosed with lymphoma, cancer in the lymphatic system, on May 10th. The information was confirmed in a note this Friday (15) by Hospital Sírio-Libanês, in São Paulo. “He is in good clinical condition and will remain hospitalized to begin specific treatment,” informed the hospital.
The Hospital confirmed that the former minister He was admitted to hospital on May 10th and, after tests, lymphoma was diagnosed.
In March, Dirceu had announced, during a visit to Campinas (SP), that he would run for the position of federal deputy in this year’s elections, 24 years after the last candidacy.
Wanted by Young PanZé Dirceu’s advisor confirmed the diagnosis and reported that, at the moment, the politician is fine. “The prognosis is good, he is well and continues to work normally”, said the press office in a note.
