The new resignations were announced last night at a press conference by the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic.

It is noted that on November 4, the current Minister of Construction, Infrastructure and Transport of Serbia, Goran Vesic, also submitted his resignation.

Serbian citizens protesting in Novi Sad and Belgrade are demanding political as well as criminal responsibility for the train station accident.

The opposition parties claim that the tragedy in Novi Sad is due to the corruption of the state apparatus and the lack of transparency in the awarding of public works. While at the same time, they announced that political responsibilities will also be assigned.
