On Saturday (16), bodybuilder Weverson Oliveira, 28 years old, born in Epitaciolândia (AC) and currently competing for Cobija, Bolivia, was the big name at the WFF Bodybuilding Championship in Cochabamba.
Competing in the up to 80 kg category, Weverson reached the top by winning the Overall title, which crowns the best athlete across all categories.
Dedicated to the sport for three years, Weverson demonstrated that discipline and hard work can go a long way. He stood out amid fierce competition, which brought together high-level athletes, consolidating his position as one of the biggest names in bodybuilding in the region.
Now, the young man is preparing for a new challenge: the South American Championship, which will be held in Chile next year. He will face opponents from across the continent and is focused on once again excelling on the international stage.
Despite the success, the road to get here was not easy. Weverson faced financial difficulties, mainly due to the lack of support in his hometown. However, he found support in Cobija, where he received the necessary incentives to continue competing and achieve significant results.
The bodybuilder’s trajectory is marked by determination and overcoming, inspiring other young people to persist in their dreams, even in the face of adversity.
