Sonja Völker, owner of the Herzilein brand, doesn’t give a damn about Black Friday. She won’t even discount her stationery and children’s fashion by three cents to support this “madness”. “I’m stubborn about that. And I hope that more and more other retailers have the balls to say: Don’t be mad at us, but it’s just not financially viable.”
