This Tuesday (26), a call-up request from singer Gusttavo Lima should be analyzed.
The request was presented by senator Soraya Thronicke (Podemos-RS), rapporteur for the CPI.
In the application, Soraya mentioned that the singer is “directly linked to advertising campaigns financed by large betting companies”. “Your summons is essential to clarify the level of involvement in this market, including possible irregular receipts or participation in actions considered unethical or illegal.”
Soraya also asked the Financial Activities Council (Coaf) to share information from Gusttavo Lima’s financial intelligence reports (RIFs) with the CPI.
RIF data from the company Balada Eventos e Produções LTDA., of which Gusttavo Lima is a partner, was also requested. All applications will be analyzed by CPI members.
Other requirements
Still this Tuesday, the collegiate must analyze a request to summon Giovanni Rocco Neto, national secretary of Sports Betting at the Ministry of Sports.
Also on the session’s agenda are invitations to businessman and digital influencer Felipe Neto and to experts and authorities who work in the online betting sector.
Last week, the CPI approved applications from , such as influencers Gkay and Deolane Bezerra and singers Wesley Safadão and Jojo Todynho.
With the summons, the artists and influencers called will be obliged to give a statement to the collegiate — unless the Federal Supreme Court (STF) authorizes their absence.

This Tuesday’s deliberative meeting has 29 requests on the agenda. After voting, senators must hear testimonies from five guests:
- Fernando Oliveira Lima (CEO of One Internet Group);
- Marcus da Silva (director of the Entain group and owner of Sportingbet);
- Erik Salum (police chief of the Federal District);
- Paulo Gustavo Gondim Borba Correia de Sousa (delegate and metropolitan integrated director of the Civil Police of Pernambuco);
- João Studart (CEO of the company Bet Nacional).
