António Guterres, UN Secretary-General, said on Tuesday (23) during a speech at the General Assembly that the United Nations principles are under siege, drawing attention to the various challenges in the international scenario.
He recalled that “sovereign nations are being invaded” and hunger is being used as a weapon.
“The choices we face are not part of an ideological debate, they are a matter of life or death for millions,” he warned.
