With a 2-1 win after a penalty shootout at VSV, the South Tyroleans moved to the top on Wednesday because Fehervar, now tied on points, lost 3-4 to Black Wings Linz. Champion Red Bull Salzburg celebrated a clear 5-1 win against bottom-placed Pioneers Vorarlberg and remains within reach of the top duo with their seventh win in a row across all competitions.
