The state deputy (-SP) sent a representation to the São Paulo Attorney General, in which he states that the government (Republicans) committed acts of administrative improbity in the management of education in the state.
According to Donato, the state administration calculated expenses with inactive people to reach the limit of tax revenue, which is prohibited by the Constitution.
This would have occurred in 2021, 2022 and 2023, that is, in the administrations of , and Tarcísio. Last year, the amount improperly used to pay pensions and retirements would have been R$33 billion, according to Donato.
In 2024, the parliamentarian projects, the value will reach R$15 billion, if the government repeats the practice.
“The recurrence of the accounting of inactive people in the expenses computed on education and the lack of compensation for deviations made in previous years indicate that the current head of the Executive Branch, Tarcísio de Freitas, maintains a clear intention to disguise the accounting of the state’s finances”, he states representation.
The PT member asks the prosecutor to present actions so that Tarcísio returns the amounts allocated to the payment of retirements and pensions in recent years to the education budget and for the governor to be held accountable for acts of administrative improbity.
He also asks the prosecutor to file criminal charges against the governor for irregular use of public funds.
Alesp (Legislative Assembly of the State of ) approved in a second and definitive vote on Wednesday (27) a PEC (Proposed Amendment to the Constitution) of the government of São Paulo that allows.
The proposal modifies the 1989 Constitution of São Paulo, which determines the expenditure of 30% of tax revenue on . The change reduces this obligation to 25% starting next year. The difference, of five percentage points, could be allocated to shares.
