Ruka – Mika Vermeulen narrowly missed his second World Cup podium place in the 20 km mass start race for cross-country skiers in Ruka on Sunday. The 25-year-old Styrian fought right up until the finish, led the field at times and ended up in fourth place behind three Norwegians. He was only 2.9 seconds behind winner Harald Östberg Amundsen and one second behind Martin Löwström Nyenget.
