Washington/Paris – US President-elect Donald Trump has nominated Charles Kushner, the father of his son-in-law Jared Kushner, as US ambassador to France. Kushner is “an incredible business leader, humanitarian and dealmaker who will represent our country and our interests as a strong advocate,” Trump said on his online service Truth Social on Saturday. The 70-year-old real estate tycoon should “strengthen the partnership between the USA and France,” said Trump.
