Graz woman convicted of donation fraud after shooting


Graz – A 33-year-old was sentenced on Thursday at the Graz Regional Criminal Court to 21 months in prison, six of which were unconditional, for serious commercial fraud. The latter are considered to have served their time due to the six months in custody. The woman confessed to collecting donations for survivors via an online crowdfunding platform after the school shooting in Graz in June 2025. She had also wrongly received social benefits. The judgment is not final.
