Amid Neymar’s likely departure from Al-Hilal, speculation about the Brazilian’s future team is filling social media. One of the options, Corinthians, gained extra momentum with the striker’s reaction in a publication that considered him in the black and white squad.
André Akkari, Co-CEO of Furia, the e-Sports team that Neymar supports, published a photo with Neymar and Memphis Depay, a Corinthians player. In the caption, a desire: “I’m working to make this happen, imagine Coringão?”.
In the comments, Neymar commented two laughing emojis, and the Corinthians arrived in force to ask for the player.
Neymar and Memphis had already had contact before, when upon arriving in Brazilian football, the Dutchman was praised by Neymar, who shared the announcement of the signing.
“Welcome to Brazil. Enjoy my country. It’s really cool that this guy plays in Brazil, may more and more stars of this level come to Brazilian football”, wrote the star.
At the time, Depay responded with another message encouraging Neymar in Brazilian football: “Thank you, brother. I pray that you return home to bless your country again with your talent.”
