Bilbao – Real Madrid has lost its virtual lead in the Spanish football league again to FC Barcelona. The defending champions suffered a 2-1 away defeat against Athletic Bilbao on Wednesday and are now four points behind the Catalans, who won 5-1 at Real Mallorca on Tuesday, with one match less.
