Trento/Vienna – The mayor of the well-known northern Italian holiday resort of Riva del Garda, Cristina Santi, who was caught up in the investigations against the Tyrolean Signa founder René Benko and his South Tyrolean tax advisor Hans Peter Hager, was released from house arrest on Friday. She had been there since Tuesday. House arrest was replaced by the obligation not to leave their community of residence.
