The Minister of Management and Innovation, Esther Dweckpresented this Monday (9) a summary of a set of measures that will be adopted by the federal government to change the governance of federal state-owned companies.
There will be three decrees, the main one, according to Dweck, seeks to provide greater financial capacity for loss-making companies.
One of the decrees on corporate management will seek “modernization and innovation in state-owned companies”, says the minister. “The focus is on companies that have some financial issues, that are dependent on the budget,” said Dweck. “We realized that we needed to better organize the governance of state-owned companies.”

The minister stated that the three decrees involving changes in the governance of state-owned companies were signed this Monday and will be published on Tuesday morning (10) in the Official Gazette of the Union (DOU).
Another decree will serve to update guidelines from the Interministerial Commission for Corporate Governance and Management of Corporate Interests of the Union (CGPAR).
“We brought items from the law on state-owned companies that were not included,” said the minister at a press conference. Now, the ministries of Management, Finance and Civil House will be at CGPAR.
