Vienna – A 64-year-old pensioner was tried at the regional court on Monday for the attempted murder of his son-in-law. The previously innocent man stabbed his son-in-law in the chest with a folding knife on September 28, 2024 – to support his daughter and his three grandchildren and after receiving three punches from the 34-year-old, as the defendant explained to a jury. He was legally acquitted of the charges.
