Ukra had an unusual moment when she took the ACD Fornelo team in a limousine to the game against ARD Calvos, in the municipality of Guimarães. The former professional football player, now competing in amateur championships, justified the choice as a way of raising the level of less media-focused competitions.
“Amateurs?! Just in name. Special games call for special moments. Van? Bus? Train? None of that! In games away from ACD Fornelo for the Northern People’s Federation Cup, we go in a limousine”, wrote Ukra on social media. The player even joked by asking his teammates to leave their coats at home and wear something more formal for the occasion.
ACD Fornelo won 5-0, now occupying second place in group A, with the same six points as leader UD S. Mamede.
