Nunes accepted the suggestion and offered the Green and Environment portfolio to Machado, who ends his term in the city of Greater São Paulo in January. Now, it is the PL that needs to respond whether it accepts the offer.

An imbroglio is the Transport secretariat, in which Mayor Milton Leite (União). Nunes, however, resists, and sees Teixeira as an option to preside over the City Council.
Once the vice mayor is elected, he will go to a new Special Projects secretariat, designed to deal with the city’s thorny issues.
Nunes states that he is in no rush to close the secretariat and that he can only define some team members after his second inauguration, in January.
