Gaviões da Fiel campaign approaches R$30 million, with more than 500 thousand donations via Pix
The crowdfunding organized by Gaviões da Fiel, an organized fan base, to help pay off Neo Química Arena’s debt of R$710 million reached 4.2% of the target after two weeks – totaling R$29,479,861.77 this Wednesday ( 11.dec.2024). After raising almost R$15 million in the first two days alone, the pace slowed down, but continues to grow.
The organization tries to mobilize fans through social media. “The strength and unity of our people is what makes us giants. Every donation has been a testament to our passion and commitment to Corinthians.”said the organizer on Instagram this Tuesday (Dec 10, 2024). in a post about the fundraising being close to R$30 million.
Gaviões announced that fans who donate at least R$100 to the fundraiser will have their names displayed on plaques that will be placed in the Arena. “Collaborate with a donation from R$100 and guarantee a plaque with your name on the mural that will be built in our house, a symbol of Fiel’s love and strength”informed the organizer.
The campaign was launched on November 28th, remains active and seeks to reach its goal of R$710 million. Caixa Econômica Federal manages donations and ensures transparency in the process.
