Striker Dudu terminated his contract with Palmeiras. After ten years of history, the player reached this Thursday (12/12) an amicable agreement with the Alviverde club to end his contract, which was valid until December 2025.
Dudu should settle the final details with Cruzeiro in the coming days. Since the information about a possible departure from Palmeiras emerged, the team from Minas Gerais has emerged as the favorite to sign the athlete.
However, regarding the salary, unlike the proposal made by Cruzeiro by Dudu at the beginning of the year, the value should be lower than it was.
What will Dudu’s salary be?
Last August, the salary proposal for the striker was more than R$2.5 million per month, surpassing the R$2.1 million he received at Palmeiras.
Now, the player will have a lower salary than what was previously offered, with salaries of approximately R$1.7 million per month from January next year.
What is Cruzeiro’s offer for Dudu?
The team from Minas Gerais presented a proposal of 5 million dollars (R$ 28.5 million) for Dudu, with the intention of making the payment in installments to Palmeiras.
The proposal that the athlete had involved a three and a half year contract, with the possibility of automatic renewal if some goals from last season were achieved. The new negotiation would not be along these lines.
