MOSCOW (Reuters) – The Kremlin on Friday (13) praised US President-elect Donald Trump’s criticism of Ukrainian attacks with US missiles against Russian territory and said that the position was fully in line with the position from Moscow.
Trump criticized Ukraine’s use of U.S.-supplied missiles for strikes on Russian territory in a statement published Thursday, comments that suggest he could alter U.S. policy toward Ukraine.
“The in itself completely coincides with our position,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters. He said Trump’s statement was in line with “our view of the causes of the escalation.”
“She pleases us,” he said.
