Argentine president gains Italian citizenship


Rome – Argentina’s ultra-right President Javier Milei has received Italian citizenship. The government in Rome has granted citizenship to the politician, who has Italian ancestors, a source familiar with the process confirmed to the AFP news agency on Saturday. According to the ANSA news agency, Milei’s sister Karina also received citizenship after the applications were processed in a fast-track procedure.
