The singer Taylor Swift36, broke all-time records with new song “I Knew It, I Knew You”track produced for the film “Toy Story 5”.
Taylor Swift has achieved historic feats on streaming platforms Spotify, Amazon e Apple Music.
On Spotify, it became the most listened to country song in a single day by a female artist in the platform’s history.
On Apple Music, the song set the platform’s all-time record for the most streamed soundtrack single on its first day, as well as becoming the biggest country single of 2026 to date.
On Amazon, the track was the biggest debut for any song on the platform in 2026.
When sharing the song on her social media, Swift said she was a fan of the story and published a video from her childhood in which she is dressed as a cowboy. “Composing this song was like a musical departure and a return home at the same time. It’s an adventure I intend to live forever.”
In the text, Taylor thanked the film’s director, Andrew Stantonfor the invitation and stated that she is an admirer of the characters in the universe. “They made me laugh, learn lessons and think beyond my own backyard throughout my childhood.”
“I Knew It, I Knew You” is Taylor Swift’s return to the country genre and talks about the character Jessie, a cowboy rag doll present in the plot since “Toy Story 2”.
The track will be featured on the new film’s original soundtrack, which will be released on June 19. “Toy Story 5” premieres in Brazil on June 18th.
