The death toll from the devastating double earthquake in Venezuela rose to 1,430, parliamentary leader Jorge Rodríguez, one of the government’s spokespersons on the tragedy, reported this Saturday (27).
Rodríguez, brother of Venezuela’s interim president Delcy Rodríguez, also reported 3,238 injuries.
The previous official count had recorded 920 fatalities.
