- The heat wave continues on Sunday and even more warming is expected.
“According to the operational data from the automatic stations, the air temperature exceptionally exceeded 39 degrees Celsius. The highest was at the station in Kamenice nad Hronom. It is an automatic precipitation measuring station. The temperature measurement here is supplementary and its placement is not as strict as in classic climatological stations. However, it is sufficient to provide additional information to the public about the air temperature reached. We also measured more than 39 degrees Celsius in Skalica and Senica,” meteorologists zoomed in.
The heat wave will continue in Slovakia on Sunday. SHMÚ drew attention to the fact that it should be a bit warmer on this day.
