Vienna – Defending champions Norway and Denmark are contesting the final of the European Women’s Handball Championship in Vienna. The Norwegian Olympic champions clearly asserted themselves against co-organizer Hungary 30:22 (13:11) in the town hall on Friday. Afterwards, the Danes, who have been successful three times at European Championships, knocked world champions France out of the race for gold with a score of 24:22 (13:11). The final will take place on Sunday (6 p.m.), followed by the match for third place.
