Sweden defeated Tunisia 5-1 this Sunday (14), in a clash in the first round of the 2026 World Cup. The result left the European team at the top of the group, which still includes the Netherlands and Japan.

After just four minutes, Sweden had their first opportunity with center forward Viktor Gyökeres, finishing over the opponent’s goal. Shortly after, at six, goalkeeper Mouhib Chamakh barely cleared the danger and Gyökeres shot firmly, but the defense saved it. In the meantime, midfielder Yasin Ayari scored to open the scoring.
