The last collective agreement for civil servants took place in 2015, during the government of . In 2023, the Executive granted a linear adjustment of 9%, however, this year there were no changes. The MP foresees differentiated adjustments for 2025 and 2026, depending on the category, and also extends the time needed for civil servants to reach the top of their careers, ending with the logic of rapid progression and high starting salaries.
For the adjustment scheduled for 2025 to be valid, in addition to issuing the measure, deputies and senators must approve the Budget Guidelines Law. Voting is expected to take place by the end of this week.
