YouTube removed publications considered false about the health status of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT).
The measure comes after the Attorney General’s Office (AGU) sent an extrajudicial notification to the platform on Friday (13) asking that 12 videos be deleted within 24 working hours.
According to Planalto, most of the content — seven of the 12 publications — had already been taken down this Monday (16).
It is, therefore, disinformation, as it exposes statements about facts that do not match the
reality, whose purpose is to deceive the public about the real health condition of the President of the Republic. In addition

That the publications violate Youtube’s terms of use, which provides that posts that are incompatible with the law or that may cause harm to third parties are deleted.
President’s health status
President Lula underwent a medical procedure last Tuesday (10), known as craniotomy to drain a hematoma. The intervention comes after the Chief Executive suffered a domestic accident in October this year.
On Thursday morning (12), Lula underwent a new procedure to block the bleeding. The Chief Executive was discharged last Sunday (15).
