In an open letter, Austrian artists are “horrified by the news that the Bank Austria Kunstforum Vienna is about to close down.” They are calling for “a fair transitional solution” that “enables the house to be reorganized in a reasonable time and secures the planned exhibition operations for the coming year.” The letter published on Friday has well over 50 signatures, including those from VALIE EXPORT, Anna Jermolaewa and Erwin Wurm.
