Venezuela’s attorney general, Tarek Saab, said this Monday (23) that another 177 people arrested during protests against the result of the last presidential election will be released.
With this, according to the Venezuelan regime, the total number of prisoners released rises to 910.
In recent weeks, Saab has announced a series of group releases of the more than 2,000 people arrested for participating in protests following the July elections.

Rights groups say they have only been able to verify some of the releases and that at least three protesters have died in custody.
Electoral authorities and the country’s Supreme Court say dictator Nicolás Maduro has won a third term. The country’s opposition released figures showing a resounding victory for their candidate, Edmundo González.
