Russian researchers have made an extremely rare find in Siberia: the team uncovered the remains of a 50,000-year-old and “exceptionally well-preserved” baby mammoth. “We were all surprised” by the condition of the fossil, said Anatoly Nikolaev from the University of Yakutsk on Monday.
