Former US President Bill Clinton and family say they are “deeply grateful for the exceptional care provided by the staff at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and touched by the kind messages and good wishes she received.”
Former President of the United States Bill Clinton was released from hospital this Tuesday after spending the last 24 hours in the hospital with a fever, a spokesman said.
“President Clinton was discharged today after being treated for the flu,” declared his deputy chief of staff, Angel Urena, on the social network X.
Clinton and his family said they were “deeply grateful for the exceptional care provided by the team at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and sensitized with the kind messages and good wishes received.”
Finally, the former President took the opportunity to “send to all his closest Warm wishes for a happy and healthy festive season“.
Since leaving the White House, Clinton has had various health problems. In 2004, it was subjected to a quadruple bypass surgeryin 2010, placed two coronary stents and in 2021, he was hospitalized due to a urinary tract infection that spread to his bloodstream.
This year, Clinton was on the campaign trail for Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris and recently published a memoir about her life after her time in the Oval Office.
