Czech actress Libuša Šafránková († 68) is known by many fans from the popular fairy tale Three Nuts for Cinderella. Her acting character, which she portrayed in it, was not spared by life at all. But in the end, she found happiness in the fairy tale, alongside the prince, who was played by her fellow actor Pavel Trávniček (72).
Like other people who came to say goodbye to Šafránková at the funeral, the actor did not miss this opportunity. Although he was not among the closest 200 guests who could be present at the funeral mass, he came to say his last goodbye, he writes
In the fairy tale, the couple experienced a happy ending full of understanding and love. In real life, their relationship was not always harmonious. Their mutual sympathies were marked by difficultiesinforms. Both of them had a completely different approach to their acting role and to the people who created the fairy tale. The actress showed no interest in maintaining any contact with them. On the contrary, the actor does not hide his joy at having played in this fairy tale.
He revealed what made him so sad about Šafránková. “I’m sorry that she is so indifferent to the fairy tale. Libuška does not participate in anything connected with her. I don’t know if it bothers her that she is associated with one role, but that’s the lot of actors. I think it’s a shame,” he explained some time ago Trávníček.
He added that the actress was not even interested in coming to the events organized by the organizers for the anniversary of the fairy tale. He was saddened that she did not come, although almost everyone accepted the participation. Despite the fact that they had a difficult time with each other, he revealed what he thinks about her acting. “We both studied in Brno. And she already had an excellent acting performance as Barunka in Babička or in the role of Juliet in Romeo and Juliet in the Brno production.” Trávníček mentioned. It can be seen that he definitely did not skimp on recognition and really praises her acting. He added that he saw her as an excellent and beautiful actress.
At the same time, he mentioned that she seemed to him to have such a strange aura. He began to recognize it gradually. In situations like filming a fairy tale, they got deeper into their acting role. “When she looked at you with those pure eyes of hers, she affected everyone,” added the actor.
Later, however, they stopped being closer. He revealed that they had not spoken to each other since his seventieth birthday. The reason is supposed to be that she didn’t even wish him a mentioned that this was another situation that made him quite sad. Finally, he admitted that they had not been in contact at all since then.
