Hippach – An avalanche in the Zillertal Alps claimed two lives on Thursday. Shortly before noon, the two winter sports enthusiasts were buried by the masses of snow a short distance below the summit of the Rosskopf in the municipality of Hippach (Schwaz district) and were then dug out by the emergency services. One person was resuscitated after being found, the control center told APA.
