It is easy to look at the things that have not gone so well for the climate and the environment recently: the re-election of Donald Trump as US President, for example, and the UN climate conference in Baku, which disappointed many expectations, especially in developing countries or the recently negotiated plastics agreement, which did not produce a clear result.
