Acre River continues to rise in Rio Branco and Civil Defense monitors the situation; see the measurement

Rio Branco Civil Defense released the latest measurement of the Acre River in the capital on Saturday night (28). According to the bulletin, the level at 6pm reached 11.47m.

The value achieved compared to the first of the day, at 6am, which was 11.15 meters, represents an increase of 32 centimeters.

According to Civil Defense, the rise is expected to intensify in the coming days due to the influence of other parts of the basin, such as the municipalities of Capixaba and Senador Guiomar.

The current volume is close to the alert and overflow quotas, which are 13.50 meters and 14 meters.
