South Korea: Landing problem for another Jeju Air plane

Almost new air tragedy in . Another 737-800 of low-cost airline Jeju Air operating a domestic flight experienced an unspecified landing gear problem similar to that reported by the flight crew. However, it returned to the airport from where it had just taken off and landed safely, the South Korean national news agency Yonhap reports.

The aircraft had departed from Seoul’s Gibo Airport for Jeju earlier today, Yonhap said, citing aviation industry sources.

39 of the 41 aircraft in Jeju Air’s fleet are of this type.
