This Tuesday (31st) Caixa Econômica Federal will hold the draw for . Tonight’s prize is estimated at a record value of R$600 million, R$50 million more than the 2023 Mega.
The draw will be held at 8pm, at Espaço da Sorte, located on Avenida Paulista, and will be broadcast live on social media.
How to bet
To compete, bettors can register their games until 6pm this Tuesday, at any lottery outlet accredited by Caixa, via the bank’s website or app.
The bettor can choose from six to 20 numbers on the wheel, consisting of 60 in total. A single ticket, with six numbers dialed, costs R$5.
When purchasing online, there is a minimum value of R$20 for the purchase, the equivalent of 4 simple bets.
Bolão
One way to bet on Mega da Virada, in addition to individual games, is to form a group to choose the numbers.
When registered in the system, the bet generates a quota receipt for each participant, who can redeem their share of the prize individually.
The prize pools have a minimum value of R$10 and each share must be at least R$5, making it possible to hold a prize pool of at least two and a maximum of 100 shares.
Players can also purchase shares in pools organized by lotteries. Just ask the attendant for the number of odds you want and keep the receipt to check the bet on the day of the draw.
In this case, an additional service fee of up to 35% of the quota value may be charged, at the lottery’s discretion.
Awards
The gross prize corresponds to 43.35% of the collection. Of this percentage:
- 35% is distributed among those who match the 6 numbers drawn (Sena);
- 19% among those who guessed 5 numbers correctly (Quina);
- 19% among those who guessed 4 numbers correctly (Quadra).
In the case of Mega da Virada, the prize does not accumulate. In this way, the values are redistributed among the following groups.
Prizes expire 90 days after the draw date. After this period, the amounts are transferred to the National Treasury for investment in the Higher Education Student Financing Fund (Fies).
