The 2024 Mega da Virada recorded a collection of more than R$2.49 billion, Caixa Econômica Federal reported on Friday night (31).
The amount is 2.6% higher than that recorded in 2023.
Mega’s gross prize is made up of 43.35% of the total collection, which is divided between the three categories of winners (those who close the sena, the corner and the court).
The other part of the amount is allocated to social programs and projects financed by Caixa in the areas of sport, culture, social security, health and public safety, among others.
It was the biggest in the history of the lottery. In total, there are three singles and two pools.
